32 km from the town of Puerto Natales is the Estancia de Ernesto Helmer, located on Route Y290 at Kilometer 8820. This is the starting point of our mountain bike pedaling adventure for 10KM, and a typical lunch with the family that lives in the sector sharing their culture and custom and then getting to know. the Route “Ernesto Helmer Archaeological Route Hiking Trail”, trekking approximately 7 KM.
At 08:00 pick up from your Hotel in our private transport destined for the excursion. It will be a 32 km trip north of the town of Puerto Natales, where the Ernesto Helmer Ranch is located. Upon reaching the destination we will begin to discover a hidden adventure, pedaling on our MTB. Together with the NIKO`S II Adventure team, this ranch full of history with unique Patagonian landscapes. It will be approximately 10 km of trails, surrounded by millenary forests of lengas, also enjoying the beautiful flora and fauna of the sector.
At the end of the mountain bike trip we will arrive at the Tiny house, where a Magellan family lives, they will be waiting for us with a delicious typical barbecue lunch of lamb roasted on fire, accompanied by salad and dessert.
You will know. the culture, gastronomy and history of a Patagonian family. they took the obcion to live in a place away from technology and the comforts of a city.
After sharing a unique experience, we will begin the 7 KM trek of the “Ernersto Helmer Archaeological Trail” all this together with our guide from the Nikos II Adventure team who will explain the history, flora, fauna and geology of the place. On our way we will visit the Laguna Sofia, a cliff where you can see the flight of the “Condor”, we will also visit the Window Cave, Hidden Cave and much more
